We work in sincere teamwork and base our medical approach upon time-tested medical wisdom supported by the most up-to-date medical research.

We will be honest and forthright so that each individual can decide what his/her best treatment option is. We will also provide individual holistic in-depth treatments and/or community acupuncture and meditation support groups to relax the mind, renew the body, transform pain, and revive the soul.

Vision Statement

Integrity, privacy, nonjudgmental empathy & respect are upheld during every interaction. We aim to remove the blocks and root causes that stand in the way of the body’s own healing power to do its job. At the same time, we address acute and chronic symptoms and facilitate healing through a holistic medicinal approach, which means to address each human being as a multidimensional being of body, mind, and soul in his/her unique life environment and situation's challenges. Our philosophy values every individual’s sacred journey and offers time-tested tools that can be used to take charge of your health and transform dis-ease into increasing ease and harmony in a highly individualized, patient-centered approach that is conscious of the delicate balance that needs to be reestablished in accordance with the patient’s chosen speed, direction, and rhythm.

How credible and effective is Acupuncture

& Oriental Medicine, really? Scientific Evidence:

Oriental Medicine is one of the fastest growing medical systems in the world. For three key reasons: it is highly effective, it is non-invasive and it produces no harmful side effects (on the contrary). Specifically, it works best for acute and chronic conditions that are often not easily resolved by standard chemical pharmaceuticals, a system which has been introduced about two hundred years ago. TCM is one of the original healing arts and sciences that has been helpful naturally to billions of people - and animals - for thousands of years. In modern times, it has been confirmed to be effective for nearly 300 health conditions with ample scientific evidence by the most reputable Medical authorities, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and US National Institute of Health (NIH).

Additionally, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine are based on principles that are compatible with the most sophisticated level of modern Science, Quantum physics. Leading scientists have recognized astonishing parallels between Quantum physics and Traditional Chinese Medicine, parallels which have actually been developed by Sages over the course of many generations, completely independently of modern Western science. In other words, scientists are only now starting to 'catch on' to what Sages of generations past have already discovered, in their own ways, in their own time.

A growing number of the most widely respected medical centers of the US and other countries are increasingly integrating Acupuncture into their health care system, including the Mayo Clinic, Stanford University, Ceder Sinai hospital in LA, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital and many more. Tendency growing.

One of many other astonishing examples of scientific evidence of the efficacy of Acupuncture are blood samples, taken immediately before and after treatment, which showed a rapid improvement and harmonization of blood health when viewed under the microscope.

Do Needles Hurt and Are They Safe?

Acupuncture needles are nearly as thin as a strand of hair, much smaller than your doctor's standard needle. In fact, approximately 17 acupuncture needles can fit inside the needles your MD uses. Many patients are surprised at how painless it is. Others describe a mild dull, aching feeling or nothing at all. And yes, the needles are very safe. We are nationally certified in clean needle technique and use only single-use, sterile acupuncture needles according to US- standards, laws and regulations.

Personal Background

Born in Israel and raised in Switzerland, Adam has lived on three continents with an international background in six languages as well as formal studies in Biology, Psychology, and Philosophy. He extensively explored Eastern spirituality including yoga and Mahayana Buddhism, which inspired him to return to the roots of Jewish Torah (Bible) studies. These eventually led him to an increasingly non-dogmatic and non-denominational holistic viewpoint with studies in Alternative Medicine & Bodywork at the American University of Complementary Medicine in Los Angeles and renowned, nationally accredited Yo San University of TCM. He graduated with excellence in both a B.S. degree in Holistic Studies and an M.S. degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University of TCM in Los Angeles. This included the most rigorous and extensive program in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine available today in the US. It comprises of Eastern medicine, Acupuncture, cupping, therapeutic healing exercises, and in-depth study of Herbal and Nutritional medicine and Western biomedicine.

He has taken his long-time professional training very seriously and thoroughly; he has worked hard to consciously transform his own health difficulties and challenges into continuous growth of health, strength, and deeper awareness. In becoming a practitioner of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine, Adam helps patients not only with similar health challenges but also ailments of the body and mind, which have been effectively treated with TCM for centuries and have largely not yet been well addressed with Western biomedicine. He has profound confidence in the unique blend of knowledge, insight, and experience developed over many years to make a significant contribution to alleviate acute and especially chronic conditions. He addresses the physical symptoms and the closely intertwined nutritional, lifestyle, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions for whoever is open to it.

Sarah Waldhorn,

BA, LMT, CMMP candidate

Licensed Massage Therapist

Sarah received her B.A. degree in Philosophy of Religion from Williams College and her massage therapy training from the National Holistic Institute in Los Angeles and the Academy of Massage and Bodyworks in Pennsylvania. She is licensed for therapeutic massage in Pennsylvania and has worked for chiropractors, individual spas, and private clientele. In conjunction with her work, she is completing her clinical hours for her certification from the Science of Massage Institute, the only massage therapy institution recruited from by the Mayo Clinic and Barrows Headache Clinic.

The medical massage taught in this institution is based on knowledge of reflexive or neurological aspects of massage therapy for chronic issues of dysfunction and pain. Sarah continues to have great success with chronic pain issues in her work.

Raised on a sheep farm in rural Pennsylvania, Sarah has had experience from her earliest years in the profundity of non-verbal touch and communication. Her first friendships were with the horses, sheep, dogs, and cats on the farm through which she learned about awareness of self and others, attentiveness, gentleness, and transparency. She believes in the fluid nature of the mind and utter honesty of the body. Additionally, she knows that healing, in whatever increment the moment allows, is always possible and nothing is irreversible. Sarah loves her work and truly believes it is a great privilege to help others through touch therapy. She is happy to help spread the unparalleled joy of embodiment.

"The future is completely open & we are writing it moment to moment... Inner peace begins the moment you consciously choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions..."
